Why we love this opportunity…
Every Sunday at 10:00 AM, 200+ people gather in a 49,000-square-foot former Kmart on Sprague Avenue in the heart of the Spokane Valley. The church relaunched as Imagine earlier this year, and the momentum is real: the room is growing again, and 12 people were baptized on a single Sunday this fall.
Your first priority is Sunday morning. Right now Imagine is a hands-in-your-pockets room, and Pastor Tony wants a worship pastor who changes that by reading the room, following what God is doing and taking people somewhere. The goal for year one: first-time guests filling out their cards with “We’re coming back because the music is so great.” You’ll inherit a full band that’s thin on depth, a few gifted vocalists ready to be developed, a production team with working AV pros on it, and an arena-capable lighting console that’s barely been tapped. You’ll also help launch First Wednesdays, a monthly full worship night for students.

About Imagine Church
Imagine Church is a non-denominational church in Spokane Valley, Washington, led by Lead Pastor Tony Mitchell. The church has served the Valley for about two decades, and earlier this year it relaunched under a new name drawn from Ephesians 3:20, the God who can do more than we could ask or imagine, to mark a new season.
Imagine is Spirit-filled with a culture of “no weird stuff,” and it runs on a simple church model shaped by ARC: Sundays and groups at the core, big Sundays that build momentum, worship that’s meant to feel a bit like a concert, and a renewed commitment to investing in kids, students and families.

Who you are…
A Room Reader – You don’t just sing and play; you lead. You read the room, stay sensitive to what God is doing and take people somewhere, without losing the guest who had the guts to show up that week. At Imagine, this is the job: moving a reserved room toward real encounter.
A Pastoral Leader – You care for people as much as the set list. You pastor your team, own the pastoral moments from the stage and run with the vision without waiting on Pastor Tony for every call. He can coach the pastoring; he’s counting on you for the music.
A Front-of-Stage Musician – You sing and play well enough to carry a Sunday as the lead voice. Great guitar is enough; more instruments are a bonus. Here, you’ll give the team the strong lead vocal it’s been missing and grow a bench that’s currently one drummer deep.
A Production Mobilizer – You know how technology serves worship. Imagine has skilled AV volunteers and gear it isn’t using yet; you’ll lead them toward a consistent, modern Sunday any volunteer can run, and help shape what’s next, from screens to stage.
A Utility Player – You’d rather wear several hats than stay in one lane. On a small staff, that means making big Sundays and events great, raising up student musicians for First Wednesdays, and bringing a solutions-first, optimistic energy to every planning meeting.
