Church Description

Generation Church is a large, growing, spirit filled, multi site church of 4,000 with locations in Mesa and Ahwatukee, East Valley Suburbs of Phoenix. The church has been listed by Outreach Magazine as one of the Top 100 Fastest Growing Churches in America for the last five years in a row. In 2020, it was identified as the fastest growing church in Arizona. The future is incredibly bright as the organization is experiencing an annual growth rate of over 20%.

The next Campus Worship Pastor of the Ahwatukee Campus will be a member of the Creative Department and will hold significant influence not only with the highest levels of leadership within their campus, but also the creative department staff at large. They’ll enjoy a strong working relationship with both the Lead Worship Pastor, Aaron Sevigny, as well as the rest of the executive leadership team. The existing Worship Department staff is looking forward to the contribution that the ideal candidate will make. The right candidate will be a spiritual entrepreneur who is passionate about reaching the lost and is ready to help the team build Christ’s Church.

The tools that the next Worship Pastor will inherit are solid in every sense. The style of the weekend experience and organizational culture is current, vibrant and engaging. A Proven Replicator – The ideal candidate will be someone who has a track record of developing teams both spiritually and musically. They will find immense fulfillment in pastoring and mentoring their team.

A Strong Vocalist – The ideal candidate for this position will bring a very high level of competency in their craft. They will be able to articulate and communicate well with each section of the band.

An Intentional Producer – The ideal candidate will be someone who understands how vibrant, Christ-centered worship connects with both believers and the spiritually curious. They will strive to make worship experiences accessible to people from all backgrounds.

A Valued Partner – The ideal candidate will be someone who instinctively works well with others. They will be carriers of the vision of the organization and champion the worship expression across the campuses and ministries of the organization.
