The church is located in the uniquely quaint city of Bend. Located on the Deschutes River, in central Oregon. West are the lakes and peaks of the Cascade Mountains, with ski resorts and multi-use trails. In town, a trail leads up Pilot Butte, an extinct volcano.
Bend, Oregon. It is one of those places people talk about with a kind of reverence. This small city, tucked into the dry side of the Central Cascades, home to just over 100,000 people, gets over 300 days of sunshine a year, yet Mt. Bachelor—just 22 miles away— collects an average of 462 inches of snow every winter.

A Gifted Talent – The ideal candidate will be someone who can really bring it on the platform. They will have an industry grade ability to set the pace.
A Creative Machine – The ideal candidate will be a writer and producer, able to pioneer a worship movement that truly captures the heart of Journey Church. They will have been part of a commercial grade quality recording project previously, able to lead the charge in to this new territory for the organization.
A Proven Replicator – The ideal candidate will be someone who has a track record of developing teams both spiritually and musically. They will find immense fulfillment in pastoring and mentoring the team.
A Spiritual Guide – The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about helping people experience the presence of God in a dynamic worship environment. They will be able to lead people into God’s presence in dynamic and creative ways.
A Valued Partner – The ideal candidate will be someone who instinctively works well with others. They will be carriers of the vision and champion the worship culture of Journey Church.
