Guest Experience Director
Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Guest Experience Director’s primary responsibility is to lead the Guest Experience strategy for all campuses. This includes coordination of campus parking lot and lobby environments, implementation of the guest experience playbook, and follow up for guests.
A secondary responsibility for the Guest Experience Director is to serve as the onsite event coordinator for Northview’s large-scale conferences and events. (Examples: That Girl Large Gathering, Valor Large Gathering, and Leads conference)
This position is an exempt full-time salary position and reports to the Executive Pastor of the Development Team.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Give Ministry Away
Deploys lobby experiences that correspond or add value to our weekend services
Provides directional influence for all parking lot/lobby experiences at campuses (Guest Experience Playbook)
Develops a system and strategy for efficiently, affordably, and smoothly implementing guest experiences with excellence
Directs and tracks first time guest follow up strategy
Coordinates with central purchasing to order supplies for experiences at campuses
Creates standardized templates to clearly communicate vision for events and experiences
Connects relationally with staff to build collaboration and camaraderie
Assist with Staff Development and Team Culture initiatives
Manages the central guest experience budget
Secondary Event Coordinator Responsibilities:
Serves on conference planning teams to be a liaison to the event execution process.
Consults with appropriate staff to develop an implementation plan to guide effective event planning.
Collaborates with and equips campus teams who will host large-scale conferences and events at campus locations.
Coordinates resources as requested or supplied by guest speakers
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position works with volunteers and must have an understanding that volunteers are key to the ministry of the church. The employee must have a heart to recruit, train, equip and support volunteers in fulfilling their roles.
