The church has prioritized and is investing well in the communications and marketing space, making it integral to the overall future success of the organization. The right Marketing Manager will be walking in to a talented team ready to go to the next level.
Church Description
Real Life Church is a large, growing, dynamic, multi site church of 7,000 with physical campuses in Valencia, Simi Valley, Canyon County, and Lancaster. In addition to an online campus that attracts people worldwide. The organization has embarked on an amazing journey to launch 30 churches by the year 2030 in the state of California. Since opening its doors in October of 2000, the organization has been driven by a passion to be a church that is irresistible to the unchurched.
The next Marketing Manager will be a member of the Creative Team and will enjoy a strong working relationship with Donte Carty the Communications Director, as well as Erika Watkins the Executive Director of Weekend Services and Creative. The existing communications department staff also includes a Project Manager, Film Director, Content Producer, and Web Designer in addition to a slew of contractors and volunteers pulled in on various projects. The right candidate will be a gifted creative visionary and a fierce protector of the external voice of the brand of Real Life Church.
The tools that the next Marketing Manager will inherit are good. The feel of the organizational brand is current, vibrant and engaging, but yet still evolving. The strategies being developed and engaged by the Creative Team highlight a commitment to meeting people where they are at and inviting them to take the next step in their faith journey. The right next leader will need to be an established, winning player, who’s not afraid to coach up their team, when needed. Someone integrated and experienced in the strategy of external marketing and internal communications. That will be the win.

A Gifted Maximizer – The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about leveraging digital, film and print communications for life-changing impact. They will proudly champion a team that is producing compelling, high-quality content being accessed by people around the world.
A Content Machine – The ideal candidate will be someone who is a gifted storyteller and communicator through their work. They will craft collateral that engages, informs and attracts attention to the organization.
A Strategic Marketer – The ideal candidate will be someone that that can dream up new and innovative ways for the organization to expand their digital reach. They will have a complete handle on Social Media best practices and the ever changing digital landscape.
A Brand Protector – The ideal candidate will be someone who relishes protecting the voice and brand of the organization. They will serve as the primary marketing contact for the communications campus launch teams.
A Best Practices Ninja – The ideal candidate will be someone who has had agency level experience and exposure. They will naturally listen to and learn from thought leaders and industry innovators as they help guide the creators on the Real Life Church creative team.
