There’s been a ton of growth and momentum in the recent years. People are being reached, and disciples are being made. As the organization has continued to grow and expand it’s been strategically building out its core leadership team. The next Youth Pastor to join the team will be joining a staff that is committed, excited, talented, and ready to move forward into a powerful new season.
The story behind Westbridge Church…
In 2006, Jeremiah & Cheri Curran sat in a living room with 10 friends to discuss the idea of starting a church in the growing northwest corridor of the Twin Cities. It’s not because the area didn’t have any churches, but because nearly 80% of people were not currently connected to a church family.
After a couple of meetings in the living room, Westbridge Church began meeting in the local community center. As the church grew, Westbridge remained portable for 13 years, meeting in local movie theaters, elementary schools, and middle schools – eventually building a permanent facility in 2019.
Today, Westbridge Church has a 20,000 square foot facility on 15 acres, and are currently in a building campaign to double the facility in the next 24 months - including a dedicated youth auditorium! There are 3,500 people who call Westbridge their church home, with 1,500+ each weekend in attendance.
St. Michael is a growing community centrally located in the heart of Minnesota along I-94, only 25 minutes to downtown Minneapolis and 35 minutes to St. Cloud. The convenient location offers a small-town feel with safe neighborhoods, good schools, abundant parks, lakes and natural resources. It’s been listed as the 3rd best place to live in Minnesota.

Position Profile
A Strategic Developer – The ideal candidate will be someone who sees the big picture clearly. They will have a deep understanding of the systems and programs it takes to sustain a world class Student Ministry.
A Ministry Savant – The ideal candidate will be someone who has been doing it at a high level. They will have spent time leading in a context of similar size and scope.
A Church Sponge – The ideal candidate will be someone who has their pulse on what’s working in Church today. They will also have a tendency to think outside of the box and approach ministry in a way that resonates with the world we live in.
A Leader’s Pastor – The ideal candidate will be someone who is a steady team manager and proven mentor to other staff and ministry leaders. They will have the ability to pull the most out of their personnel while also creating an environment that builds consensus, symmetry and integration across the team.
